"In autumn 2019 I had fulfilled a childhood dream and bought a HPN BMW with 1043cc, large valves, updside-down suspension fork, electronic dual ignition, central suspension, Edelweiss tuning, etc.
The bike (from 1994) and was originally built with a large rally fairing, luggage system, aluminum suitcases, etc., as it was used for big tours in South America and North Africa.
On the other hand, I would rather have an enduro for weekend tours in the Alps or anywhere else where it is beautiful.
Therefore I have completely disassembled the bike. It got a long 5th gear. Wearing parts were renewed, parts painted or replaced...
A light enduro fairing, new seat and a new rear save weight and give the bike a completely new slim look.
HPN built the successful Paris-Dakar Rally Motorcycles for BMW. Some HPN BWW are therefore painted in the Marlboro design of the Paris-Dakar winning machine of the legendary Gaston. It looks great, but I liked the clean style of the 1983 Hubert Auriol machine even better. It is simply timelessly beautiful.
Here you can see how the machine was assembled after spending a lot of time in preparation, construction and getting parts. Have fun :-)"

Re: Assemblage GS HPN à vitesse accélérée.
Ça semble tellement facile (et rapide ). Superbe machine!
